Trip to Springfield
Last weekend Joel, Carl, Alyssa, Ashley, Clara, Katie, and myself went to Springfield for the day. We went to the mall and then to a park, then to dinner and then ice skating! It was a ton of fun!
It was Carl's b-day, he turned 20!!!! We had so much fun, as we were walking though the mall we all started to randomly sing very loudly "Happy Birthday". It was awesome, people around us started to sing as well and then yelled out to him, "Happy Birthday"!!! ;)
On the trip there were a lot of random sayings. Some of them you wont understand unless you were there, and some of them were just so random they are awesome. But anyways...here they are!!!
:Carl: "People need to learn that not everything comes though life for free, therefore I am not going to attend my b-day party".
:Random: Susie says, "which way do we turn?" Katie says, "Well where are we going?"
:Alyssa: "I want that car!"
:Random: Every time our waiter came to our table we would all say together, "WE LOVE YOU".
:Joel: "I love logic!"
:Katie: "Forty-five more min to be 19!!!"
:Sales lady: "Madam, please stop hugging the Manikin".
:Ashley: "I wanna squeeze his cheeks!"
:Joel: "This is deep"
:Susie: "I love you, you love me, its a LOVELY day".
:Joel: "If anyone needs to use the bathroom, go now! Or forever hold your peace!"
It was an awesome day! One that none of us will forget!

Oh yes.... we are both 18!
Elise and my birthdays are 8 days apart. I know... she was late. :( I tell her all the time, if she had just been 8 days early we could have really been twins... ;) lol.
I love you Elise, We have had SO many fun times together. From ridding bikes down a hill with no breaks, to falling into the pond with skirts on.
From running down our huge hill in the summer just for the fun of it, to hiding down by the creak at Fourth of July so we could talk without anyone bothering us.
From sliding on the ice, to trying our hardest to be serious for just 5 mins.
From playing weird games like moo, to driving your tractor around your place.
From taking pictures of you walking across our pond on a log, to taking pictures with our hoop skirts on.
From changing in your van. to having awkward moments with guys on our farm.
From talking about our families to laughing about "airplane"-stars.
From sewing our first dresses together to learning to make the seem-ripper out best friend.
From swinging on our swing to laughing so hard we cried...
oh yes, Elise... we have made so many memories... and we have SO many more to make. :) I am so thankful for you my friend. I love you so very much.
We got together last Saturday and took some pictures. :)

... this is the first year that we really did something for each other's b-days. We both planned a surprise b-day party for each other. lol. Nether of us knew that the other was doing the same thing. It was really funny so we got pictures with us trying to look surprised. ;)

Memories so special
A walking in the snow on a cold moon-lite night, with friends and more laughter then you can imagine, and a amazing sister-in-law and brother who serve hot chocolate. Now if that doesn't sound like a special time... then really... you need to get a life! lol. jk. Well if it sounds special to you or not, it was too me, and I am so thankful for my friends. They mean so much to me.
oh... they say I'm old....
The night before ....
The night before I turned 18 my brothers and some friends of mine got together to watch a movie. It snowed which was totally amazing! I love snow, and we got about 5''!!! Around 2 in the morning we got the snowmobile out and went ridding! It was so so much fun! ;) Memories where made to last forever. :)
Oh yeah... and one of the guys got his truck stuck. lol. never ending excitement ;)

Looking for Him for our help
Why are you striving these days
Why are you trying to earn grace
Why are you crying
Let me lift up your face
Just don't turn away
Why are you looking for love
Why are you still searching as if I'm not enough
To where will you go child
Tell me where will you run
To where will you run
And I'll be by your side
Wherever you fall
In the dead of night
Whenever you call
And please don't fight
These hands that are holding you
My hands are holding you
Look at these hands and my side
They swallowed the grave on that night
When I drank the world's sin
So I could carry you in
And give you life
I want to give you life
Something to love
In the last week, with everything seeming like its falling apart, I did something I never thought I would ever do. I went out and bought a dog. Yes, me, Susanne Faith Eldredge, now owns her own dog. ;) yeah, I can hardly believe it ether. In the past I have never been able to stand dogs. lol. I just don't like them. Anyways... but I love my little puppy. Its really special to me and his name is Coco. ;)
Sometimes... when your heart is hurting and you just need something to love... it comes out in very odd ways. :)

Dreams...and how we dream....
"He has made everything beautiful in His time". That has been so true in my life for the last few week. You see, My relationship with Jon Neumann has been stopped for the time being. I truly believe that the Lord has put it on hold for a good reason.
In the last week I have found God to be my only and true comfort!
I really don't know how to explain it. I used to hear people say, "just give all of your hurt to God, and he will hold you." There is something about hearing that and then believing it with understanding.
I never would have believed that I could be so at peace, when my life was going so crazy. I am so happy with what the Lord has been teaching me.
You know, there are always going to be people in our life that will fail us, there will always be people in our life that will hurt us, and there will always be people in our life that forget us, but there will always be Jesus in our life that will never fail us, he will never hurt us, and he will always be with us.
We can't hold on to the past, we must forgive, forget, and move on. There is a whole world out there that needs us. Each morning is a new day to wake up to the sunshine and see new life. Every day we can try again with our whole heart to serve our Maker. We are so blesses. I am trying to remember not to weep over what made me smile in the past. God is in control, God is good, and all is well.
Faithfully~ Susie.
